After 10 matches, Sol almost perfect
How about that Sonoma County Sol. Almost a perfect 10 after 10 games this season.
Following Sunday's 4-2 victory at Chabot College in Hayward over the Bay Area Ambassadors (pretty lame name for a team), Sol is 8-0-2 and probably in need of a rest after a long drive to Medford, Ore. on Saturday and then back to Hayward for Sunday's match.
Chris Wright scored a pair of goals while Nate Medina and Eric Lafon added one apiece for Sol in Sunday's victory.
Next up will be the Salinas Samba at 7 p.m. Saturday at Santa Rosa High.
Do they deserve a little love from the local soccer community? Of course.
